The search will return only documents whose text/title contains the exact expression or word you entered.

Truncation for an extended search: use‘%’at the end/beginning of a word, typed directly in the database language (Estonian).

• Truncation at right: raamat% allows to search for: raamatu,raamatute,raamatud,raamatutes etc. or Raamatukogude,Raamatukogu,raamatukaupmeeste etc.
• Truncation at left : %raamat allows to search for: viisiraamat, lauluraamat, Teenistusraamat etc.

Select the legal nature of the documents from the drop-down menu.

You may also scroll the items; to start from a particular letter, type in that letter.

Documents are published with a serial number which starts again from 1 each year. More than one document in the same year, but of different types (circular, law etc.) may have the same number.

Enter here a number with 1 to 4 digits. You can also enter a range, e.g.18-24 for the documents numbered 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24.

You may combine this criterion with date and document type. For example, with the year 2003, the document type ‘määrus’ and the range 3-5, you will get circulars 3, 4 and 5 of the year 2003.

The Signature date is the date of promulgation of the texts.

The Publication date is the date of publication of the texts in the Estonian State Gazette.

Search hints

Enter at least the year (4 digits). To narrow down the search, enter the month and the day of publication (2 digits each).

You can also enter a time range, i.e. a period between two dates.

Specify the source of publication. Ex: Riigi Teataja (Estonian State Gazette)
