Search hints

The targeted search engine will find a word in all its various forms e.g a search for ‘fish’ will find ‘fisheries’ and ‘fishing’ etc.

Document type

Select the desired type of text from the drop-down menu by clicking on the downward arrow beside the corresponding box. Only one choice can be selected at a time.

Document number

Type the number of the act. Ex: 2018/33 or simply 33.

Type of date

Select whether you would like to search across legislation for a particular year or range of years.

All legislation from 1988 – present day is available to search. Most but not all pre-1988 primary and secondary legislation, dating back to 1267 is available to search. Older legislation is being added to make the dataset more complete.
